My name is Nita Butler, I am the mother of two lovely daughters and grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren. I have been making dolls since about 1994. I started with rag dolls and now make cloth dolls of all kinds. My work has been shown in Soft Dolls and Animals as well as Art Doll Quarterly. I have been fortunate enough to attend a few doll conferences and have learned much from many wonderful doll artists/teachers. My goal in doll making is to learn and grow as much as possible and to make dolls that make people happy. To see a smile on someone’s face while viewing my dolls is a great reward to me.
