The propose is to introduce you to a myriad of techniques and ideas. You may choose to participate by finishing one figure or plan on completing an entire nativity later using the various techniques learned. There will be different embellishment centers where you can make decorations for decorating or accenting your doll (figure). You will be making either a gourd figure or a spoon figure. All materials, tools and instructions for making one small gourd figure  or a spoon, tryvec and foam board will  be provided as well as different items you construct at the the embellishment centers. Just a few hints, you will learn how to clean gourds, woodburn with a professional woodburner,  use alcohol inks, painting techniques, what tryvec is and what you can do with it and many more fun things. Many of the ideas are from ”Creative Embellishments by Sherrill Kahn”.
